TVS Motor Company has launched its new powerful and stylish sports bike TVS Apache RTR 310 in India. Its starting ex-showroom price is 2.40 lakhs. This bike is great not only in price but also in terms of performance, technology and design. TVS Apache RTR 310 proves to be very powerful in terms of engine and performance. It has a 312cc liquid-cooled engine, which generates 35.6 bhp of power and 28.7 Nm of torque. Its gearing is smooth and throttle response is fast, which makes the riding experience even better.

Apart from this, technology like slipper clutch and Drag Torque Control has been given for smooth downshifting, which keeps the riding more under control. Its engine gives stable and refined performance even at high revs, making this bike a perfect option for both long rides and sporty riding.

TVS Apache RTR 310 has a six-axis IMU based system, Cornering dual channel ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, wheelie control, bi-directional quickshifter, tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control, rear wheel lift protection, five ride modes - Urban, Rain, SuperMoto, Sport, Track. Along with this, features like smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and SMS / call alerts are available on the TFT console.

Variants and price

In terms of variants and price, Apache RTR 310 comes in three major options. The base variant (Black) is priced at Rs 2.40 lakh, which offers features like cruise control, traction control and rear wheel lift mitigation.

The mid variant (Red/Yellow) is available for Rs 2.57 lakh, which gets all the features along with a bidirectional quickshifter. Apart from this, the BTO Kit comes with a variable price, which is specially designed for customization and personalization.

The bike has also been given new color options, which are Fiery Red, Arsenal Black, Fury Yellow and Sepang Blue. It has already been offered in Arsenal Black and Fury Yellow colors, but now they have been given new graphics.

The sharp and aggressive look of the TVS Apache RTR 310 is still intact, with a unique split LED headlight. There is a clean tail section, where the indicator and number plate are mounted on the tire hugger. The trellis frame is also the same. 41mm inverted front fork and preload adjustable rear monoshock are available. The BTO variant has KYB's fully adjustable suspension on both sides. There is a 300mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brake setup. There are 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends of the bike, with 110-section Michelin Road 5 tires at the front and 150-section at the rear.
