US President Donald Trump said that there might be ‘Retaliation” if India Doesn’t accept the US order for the Hydroxychloroquine used to fight against Coronavirus.

India has halted all the exports of the drug after the Coronavirus pandemic.

Donald Trump Said, “I spoke to him [PM Modi] on Sunday morning, and I said we appreciate it that you are allowing our supply [of hydroxychloroquine] to come out. If he doesn’t allow it to come out, that would be okay, but of course, there may be retaliation, why wouldn’t there be?”

A few days back in a telephonic conversation, Donald trump had urged Prime Minister Modi to release an order for the same.

He said, “After a call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is giving serious consideration to releasing the hold it put on a US order for hydroxychloroquine,” Trump said, reported NDTV. “India makes a lot of it. They need a lot too for their billion-plus people. The hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malaria drug will be released through the Strategic National Stockpile for treatment,”

After the outbreak of coronavirus, India had banned the export of the drug.

There will be retaliation Incredible. After a gala event was organised for Trump and co in Gujarat just a month ago, this threat. Is this why India lifted the ban on export of hydroxychloroquine yesterday?
