The longest-running comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most-watched and loved show. It has been running successfully for last 12 years. However, with the pandemic, the show has started facing difficulties as the shoot resumes after COVID lockdown.
There are news doing rounds that few popular characters from the show have decided to quit the show. The confirmation has been given by two very famous characters from the show. Gurucharan Singh Sodhi who played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi has quit the show due to family issues. Now Balvinder Singh Suri will play his role for which the shoot has already been started.
Also, Neha Mehta aka Anjali Tarak Mehta has also decided to leave the show. The reason behind her leaving the show is claimed to be that she has bagged another big show. The search for new person who will play her role is going on.
Also, Monika Bhadoria who plays the role of Bawri in the show has also quit the serial due to the differences with the makers. Prior to that Atmaram Bhide’s daughter, Sonu whose role was played by Nidhi Bhanushali had also left the show. She wanted to concentrate more on her studies and so she decided to discontinue.
Disha Vakani who played the popular character of Daya had also left the show and there is no surety whether she will return or not.
