At the beginning of this month, as per the reports of Variety that instead of a solo artiste, the 2019 Academy Awards team is planning to recruit several celebrities to present different parts of the show.
However, this news was not given the confirmation mark by any member of the Academy.

Immediately after his “Homophobic” tweet was viral, the Academy asked the actor to give an ultimatum, apologizing for his comment and to issue an official statement for his remarks.
However, Hart refused to apologize for his previous comments and quit the award show.
