The Commendable Support Of SRK To The Government During Pandemic

In the fight against Covid-19, many Bollywood celebrities are coming forward to support the efforts of our PM Narendra Modi. And one such support is coming from King Khan. So, here is how Shah Rukh Khan is supporting the government.

He is coming up with a series of initiatives to help the government. In a statement, he appreciated the efforts of the government. Also, he addressed a few names- Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Shri Uddhav Thackeray Ji, Smt Mamata Banerjee, along with other leaders of states and Union Territories.

Here’s a list of all the funds and charities to which he and his companies are supporting.

• PM Cares Fund- The KKR is contributing to the fund.
• Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund- Gauri Khan and SRK own an Entertainment company, Red Chillies Entertainment, which will contribute to this fund.
• Personal Protective Equipment For Healthcare Providers: the real heroes of the crisis are the healthcare providers who are tirelessly working. And Meer Foundation is going to support by providing the 50,000 PPE kits.
• Ek Saath- The Earth Foundation- over 5500 families of Mumbai will be given food essentials for a month. Besides this, a kitchen is going to set-up to prepare meals for hospitals and households.
• Roti Foundation is providing foods to underprivileged people and laborers who work daily. Meer Foundation is working with Roti Foundation.
• Working People’s Charter- all the grocery items and other essentials will be given to 2500 daily wage workers for a month in association with the Meer Foundation.
• Meer Foundation will provide a monthly stipend to the acid attack survivors in the following states- UP, West Bengal. Bihar and Uttarakhand. Moreover, all the needs of the survivors will be taken care of.

The support of Shah Rukh Khan and his group of companies is commendable and just a start. He is supporting all these funds and charities during the crisis.
