The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series is just weeks away from its official debut, but thanks to fresh leaks, almost nothing is left to the imagination. Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date and pre-reservations have already begun in India for ₹999. But the real buzz? The specs and price tags that are now circulating online.

Let’s break it down.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Price Leak

According to reports from European publication WinFuture, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series may see a slight price hike.

Expected EU pricing:

  • Galaxy S26: €999 (approx ₹1,07,700)

  • Galaxy S26+: €1,269 (approx ₹1,36,800)

  • Galaxy S26 Ultra: €1,469 (approx ₹1,58,400)

For comparison, last year’s S25 lineup started slightly lower. In India, the Galaxy S25 launched at ₹80,999, S25+ at ₹99,999 and S25 Ultra at ₹1,29,999. If Samsung keeps Indian pricing similar, it could soften the impact of global price increases.

All models are expected in White, Blue, Black and Purple.

Personally? If Samsung sticks close to last year’s India pricing, it’s a smart move. The premium smartphone market is brutally competitive right now.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Display and Design

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series reportedly keeps familiar display sizes but improves panel efficiency with new M14 AMOLED tech.

Expected display specs:

  • S26: 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz

  • S26+: 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz

  • S26 Ultra: 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz

  • Protection: Corning Gorilla Armor 2

Reports suggest a unified camera module design across all models, similar to Samsung’s foldables. The Ultra may feature slightly rounded edges for better grip.

One disappointment? No built-in magnets for Qi2 magnetic wireless charging. Faster wireless speeds (up to 20W+) are expected, but magnetic alignment support is still missing.

In 2026, skipping magnets feels like a half-step.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Performance

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series is expected to run on Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and push deeper Galaxy AI integration.

Chipset details:

  • S26 & S26+: Exynos 2600 (Europe and select markets)

  • S26 Ultra: Custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy

  • RAM: 12GB (base), Ultra up to 16GB

  • Storage: Up to 1TB (Ultra)

Samsung is clearly betting big on AI. Expect smarter camera tools, productivity enhancements and system-wide personalization features. The company has already teased that AI will “simplify everyday tasks.”

Let’s be honest, hardware upgrades feel incremental. The real battlefield in 2026 is AI optimization.

Camera hardware remains strong, especially on the Ultra.

S26 & S26+:

  • 12MP ultrawide

  • 12MP front camera

S26 Ultra:

  • 50MP ultrawide with autofocus

The Ultra clearly remains Samsung’s photography powerhouse. If computational AI processing improves, this could easily dominate 2026’s flagship camera rankings.

Battery upgrades are modest:

  • S26: 4,300mAh, 25W wired

  • S26+: 4,900mAh, 45W wired

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Evolution Over Revolution

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series doesn’t reinvent the wheel and maybe it doesn’t need to.

The design is refined. Performance is upgraded. AI is center stage. And pricing, while slightly increased in Europe, could remain stable in India.

This feels like a strategic evolution, not a revolution. Samsung is polishing an already successful formula rather than taking bold risks.

February 25 will confirm everything. Until then, the leaks suggest a powerful but familiar flagship lineup, smarter, faster and slightly more expensive.

If Samsung nails AI performance and keeps Indian pricing competitive, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series could easily dominate 2026’s premium smartphone conversation.

Now the real question: will AI be the game-changer Samsung promises, or just another marketing buzzword?
