This is England’s second-biggest defeat in terms of runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a double-century for India. He scored an unbeaten 214 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma had scored a century in the first innings. He had scored 131 runs. Ravindra Jadeja had scored 112 runs.

After scoring 445 runs in the first innings, Indian bowlers were failing in front of the baseball on the second day. By the end of the second day’s play, England had scored 207 runs after losing two wickets in just 35 overs.

With this win, Team India has gone 2-1 ahead in the series. Now the fourth match of the series will be played in Ranchi from 23rd February.
