The nameplate returns 22 years after the first-gen Tata Sierra’s discontinuation. The iconic nameplate is making a comeback Tata Sierra, reviving a beloved nameplate with a bold new identity. Once a symbol of rugged adventure in the 1990s, the Sierra is now poised to redefine premium SUVs in India with cutting-edge technology and a design that bridges past and future.
The teaser released by Tata Motors confirms some design details of the production-spec Sierra, while also showcasing some styling elements taken from the near-production Sierra concept. Iconic elements of the first-generation model include a high-set bonnet, thick B-pillars, and wide front and rear facials. Additionally, there are rear side windows that appear to wrap around the roof, a visual illusion created by the blacked-out portions of the roof.

The production-spec Sierra’s premium-looking interior it has a two-tone dashboard and steering wheel. The latter is a flat-bottom design with piano-black trim and an illuminated Tata logo. It is gradually becoming clear that the new Sierra will have a spacious seating arrangement for at least five passengers and boot space.
Tata Sierra gets the brand's modern design language with an all-LED lighting setup, which includes headlights and full-width lightbars both in the front and rear, C-Pillars, flush-fitting door handles, along with blacked-out ORVMs,dual-tone alloy wheels. Other possible features include powered and ventilated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree surround view cameras, and 6 airbags. And a shark fin antenna.
Tata Sierra engine options
The Tata Sierra is expected to feature a 2.0-litre diesel engine sourced from the Tata Harrier, along with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine as options. Powertrain Options

- +2.0L diesel (Fiat-sourced) with 6-speed AT and MT
