Tata Nexon is a stylishly luxurious and expensive sub-four-metre compact SUV by Tata. The Tata Nexon has achieved the position of being the first Indian car to have 5 stars for safety given by Global NCAP.

Engine And Transmission

Tata launches this in eight broad trims i.e, XE, XM, XM (S), XZ+, XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L) and XZ+ (P). The dark, as well as Red Dark Edition, will be available initiating from XZ+. At the same time, Kaziranga Edition will be available on XZ+ and XZA+ trims.

Talking about boot space and seating capacity, the Tata Nexon has 350 litres of boot space and five people can have a seat in the car. 

The car has both the options of petrol and diesel. It has a 1.2 litre, three-cylinder, turbo petrol unit (120PS/170Nm) as well as a 1.5 litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine (110PS/260Nm). 

Engines are associated with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed AMT. 

Features Of Tata Nexon

The features of this car are simply awesome. The subcompact SUV has a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system having Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also, it comes with a digital instrument cluster, voice commands, a cooled glovebox, auto AC having rear vents, cruise control and rain-sensing wipers.

The top-end models also include ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM, an eight-speaker sound system and an air purifier having an air-quality display. 

For the safety of the passengers, it has dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, an electronic stability program (ESP), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and ISOFIX child-seat anchors.

Tata Nexon
The value of Tata Nexon starts from Rs 7.80 lakh to Rs 14.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi price). Exceptionally, the ‘Red Dark’ model of the car starts from Rs 12.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi price).
