NASA astronaut Sunita Williams is stuck in the International Space Station, due to the technical failure of the Boeing Starliner. It was the first for Boeing to establish itself in the commercial aerospace industry after Space X Dragon.
The Boeing Starliner was scheduled to return on 13th June but, it was delayed due to helium leaks and the return of the two astronauts Sunita Williamsand Butch Wilmoretook shelter at the International Space Station for a while. Both are safe but the speculation of their return journey is still unknown.
According to the new report NASA’s Commercial Crew Program Manager, Steve Stitch has said that the US space agency is considering extending the duration of Starliner’s mission from 45 days to 90 days.
What Happened to the Boeing CST-1000 Starliner Spacecraft?

Boeing Starliner was ready to make history by sending astronauts to space, it was second in line in the field of the commercial industry before then Space X was the first privately owned space company that built the Dragon X to take human astronauts to space.
According to the reports the delay in the launch is due to the issue detected in the spacecraft valve responsible for regulating the flow of oxidizer. On spacecraft, oxidizers are chemicals that help rockets during lift-off and help in changing the rocket's path by aiding combustion. A large amount of energy is required to propel it forward.
Further, NASA said that initially, the leakage was small enough but later when it took off the capsule had five helium leaks, five maneuvering thrusters went dead and a propellant valve failed to close completely, prompting the crew members in space and on the earth to work on the problem.
Is the Future of the Boeing Aerospace in Danger?

Boeing now become the most controversial aerospace company after one-by-one fallacies in its aircraft. Many incidents happened in the past where Alaska Airline Boeing 737 Max 9 jet door panel blew off due to the missing bolts. National Transporation Authority board highlighted the safety issues with whistle-blowers alleging to remain silent about the defects.
Now Boeing's future is in danger due to its initial flight has lots of implications that in future put the lives of the astronauts in jeopardy.
Both Sunita Williams and Butch Willmore will be returning most probably after 45 days according to NASA. Both of them are safely reached by ISS and ISS has storage of foods and supplies that will last longer.
