Cricketer KL Rahul has been the backbone of the Indian team since his impressive debut in 2016. Because of consistent performance, the cricketer has also been a vice-captain for a long time.

And now, the Indian team has finally decided to drop him from the playing XI. Today, in the match against Australia, young cricketer Shubman Gill replaced him as an opener.
