On 12th December 2022, we mourn the loss of one of Hollywood’s most prolific character actors, Stuart Margolin. He passed away at the age of 82.

The grieving news was shared by his stepson Max Martini through the Instagram handle. He wrote “The two most profound moments of life… the birth of my kids and being bedside as my step-father passed this morning. My mother, brother and I holding his hands.”

Stuart Margolin is one of the best actors of his time. His best movies include Death Wish, The Rockford Files, Iron Eagle II, Bride of Violence, etc.

Stuart Margolin was born on January 31, 1940, in Davenport, Lowa. He moved to Dallas, Texas with his family while he was so young.

Stuart was no good in his studies and was also kicked out of Texas Public School. Thereafter, his parents decided to send Stuart to a boarding school in Tennessee.

But later, he found his interest in acting and began his career in show business as a child actor.

Margolin landed his first major role on the television show “The Rockford Files”. He would go on to win two Emmy Awards for his work on the show.

In addition to his work on “The Rockford Files”, Margolin also appeared in such films as “Death Wish”, “The Sting”, and “The End”.
