T20 World Cup 2024: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday mandated the use of stop clocks in limited-overs internationals and said it will become permanent in all ODIs and T20Is from June 2024, starting with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The ICC also finalized the playing conditions of the ICC World Cup 2024 on Friday and said that the team batting second will be required to bowl at least 5 overs to hold games in the group stage and Super Eight stage. But, in the case of knockout matches, the minimum over limit is increased to 10.
