The culture of renaming cities and streets is very popular in India especially the BJP leaders take keen interest in it. From renaming the cities, streets, to recent dragon fruit, BJP has been criticized and many don’t agree to their decision. But this time, a member of Congress has laid a proposal for renaming South Delhi’s Andrew Ganj road and everyone is appreciating his proposal because it’s a tribute to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Soon, one of a streets in New Delhi will get the name of Sushant Singh Rajput as the proposal laid by Abhishek Dutt, SDMC’s Congress Councilor has finally got clearance on Thursday.
Since long, residents living in the area around Road No 8 have been demanding for it. Now, it’s official that South Delhi’s road stretched from Andrews Ganj to Indira Camp will be marked as Sushant Rajput Marg in the memory of late actor, said Dutt.

The hometown, Bihar has also SSR road that stretches from Madhubani to Mata Chowk. It was renamed in July 2019. Many fans took part in the inauguration of SSR road in Bihar.
