Sourav Ganguly To Become BCCI's New President?
In a rather dramatic turn of events, Sourav Ganguly is all set to contest for BCCI's presidential post after what it seemed to have taken by Brijesh Patel! https://twitter.com/timesofindia/status/1183444431153713153 Seems even Patel could not dodge Dada's antics! Anyway, attention to details, after weeks of lobbying and hectic parleys, former captain, 47-year-old Ganguly emerged as the unopposed candidate for the post. Today is the last day for filing nominations but elections are less likely to take place owing to the turnout of events. Anurag Thakur has also been the president of BCCI formerly. Anyway, coming to Brijesh Patel, who was about to claim the throne before Dada swooped him over *Okay Sorry* To our surprise, Patel was backed by the Tamil Nadu hotshot N Srinivasan. However, there was stiff resistance against him. We are happy Sourav is the new president. FYI, Ganguly is currently the president of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), and he will demit from his post in September 2020. Also, since Patel lost to Ganguly BCCI's presidential elections, he might be given the post of IPL chairman. As a consolation? Anyway, the conclusion here is, you might not see Dhoni in the national team, but you're going to see him in IPL for a long time! If you know what I mean! *Wink*
