Shehzada is Already A Blockbuster! Recovered 76% of Budget Before Its Release

In the last few years, actor Kartik Aaryan is delivering back-to-back blockbuster movies including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Luka Chuppi, Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety, etc.

Now, the actor is coming back with a new movie Shehzada. It’s an official Hindi remake of a Telegu movie Al Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde.

At first! The film was supposed to release on 10th February. But after the massive success of Pathaan at the box office, Shehzada makers pushed its release date to 17th February.

And now, as per the latest reports, the advance bookings of Shehzada are open and it has already recovered 76% of its budget. The makers of the film have also sold its OTT rights to Netflix. Read the full report here.

Shehzada Makers Needs Only 20 Crores to Recover its Overall BudgetShehzada

According to the information provided, Shehzada has been made within a budget of INR 85 Crores. It includes INR 65 Crores of production cost and INR 20 Crore of publicity cost.

And now, the new reports say the makers of Shehzada sold its OTT rights to Netflix for INR 40 Crores. Apart from this, music rights, satellite rights and overseas rights to the film were sold for INR 25 Crore.

As per this report, Shehzada has already earned INR 65 Crores even before its release. Now, it only needs INR 20 Crores to recover its overall budget. And by seeing the hype because of Karitk Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s duo, we can expect the film will touch the 100 Crores mark at the box office.
