Shah Rukh Khan To Be Honoured With Career Achievement Award at Locarno Film Festival !

Shah Rukh Khan is set to be granted the Locarno Film Celebration's professional accomplishment grant, which is the renowned Pardo alla Carriera. The "remarkable career in Indian cinema" of the Bollywood superstar will be honored with the award, the Festival website announced on Tuesday.

After a gap of four years, Shah Rukhhad a blockbuster year in 2023 with three releases in a year. He denoted a big screen rebound with YRF's Pathaan and later collaborated with Atlee for Jawan. The two movies were blockbusters and established standards in the cinematic world, becoming one of the greatest grossers of the year. Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was Shah Rukh's third and final film in 2023.

A portion of the prominent beneficiaries of a similar honor in the past incorporate Tsai Ming-liang, Claudia Cardinale, Johnnie To, Francesco Rosi, Harry Belafonte, and Jane Birkin.
