Good news for Madhya Pradesh residents and the environment as well. The state is going to have a first of its kind i.e. a solar city. Sanchi is chosen for this where all the houses, shops, roads, and even streets would get solar energy.
Sanchi to Become First Solar City of the State

The first project of the solar city will take a time period of six months.

Other than Sanchi, MP's Omkareshwar is also going to be lit up with solar energy via a floating solar project.
A total of 300 MW plant is to be installed for which work has already begun and the project will wrap up in 2023.
Neemuch, Agar, and Shajapur are other areas within Madhya Pradesh to get solar parks.
