Samsung makes known most compact image sensor for full-screen display smartphones: Samsung has showcased its smallest high-resolution ISOCELL Slim 3T2 image sensor which aims at manufacturers looking to provide not only camera performance, but also hardware design.

The most compact image sensor of the designated industry at 1/3.4 inches, the ISOCELL Slim 3T2 delivers 20-megapixel resolution for both front and back cameras which can be accommodated in the all-new sleek mid-range smartphones with a hole-in display or notch design.

This image sensor comes with features of 20-million active 0.8μm-sized pixels which capture and absorb more light information for precise color reproduction.

Further, Tetra cell technology of Samsung allows for brighter and sharper images in low-light settings.

It’s expected that Samsung ISOCELL Slim 3T2 will be in large production in the first quarter of this year.
