The Galaxy Z Trifold is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, which expands to 10 inches when unfolded. It is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB-1TB of storage. It will run on One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. When unfolded, it will resemble the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It will have two hinges, allowing the phone to fold into three parts. When fully unfolded, it is expected to be 4.2mm thick and approximately 14mm when folded.

The Galaxy Z Trifold is almost certain to feature a 200MP primary camera. The other two lenses in its triple camera setup will be a 12MP ultrawide and a 50MP telephoto sensor. It could have two 10MP sensors on the front. Regarding battery capacity, it could have a 5,600mAh battery, which would be significantly larger than the 4,400mAh battery on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
When will it launch, and what could be its price?
According to recent reports, this phone could launch on December 5th. The company is planning to sell only 20,000-30,000 units initially. For now, the company wants to showcase its technological capabilities rather than sales. Its price hasn't been officially announced, but it's believed to be around ₹2.60 lakh (approximately $ 2,932.80 USD). This phone will compete with the Mate XT from the Chinese company Huawei. Huawei's Mate XT is the world's first tri-fold phone, and its second-generation model has already been launched.
