Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Launched in India: Price, Specs, Features

Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in India at its mega event Galaxy Unpacked 2025. With this, a book style foldable design is available. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been made lighter and thinner than before. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is only 4.2mm thin and weighs 215 grams. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a 200-megapixel primary camera. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection.

Talking about the camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a 200-megapixel primary camera, which has quad pixel autofocus, OIS and 85-degree field of view. It also has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, which supports 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, it has 10-10 megapixel cameras on both the cover screen and the inner screen. Apart from this, it also includes a new Pro Visual Engine.

This phone has a 4,400mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging. The company claims that it can be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It also has Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless Power Share features.

The design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is thinner and lighter than its previous version. It is 4.2 mm thick when unfolded and 8.9 mm thick when folded, while weighing 215 grams. At the same time, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was 12.1 mm thick when folded and 5.6 mm thick when unfolded, weighing 239 grams.

• Talking about the specifications, this dual-SIM phone runs on One UI 16 based on Android 8. Inside it is an 8-inch QXGA+ (1,968x2,184 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display, which comes with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 368ppi pixel density and 2,600 nits of peak brightness.
• The external screen is a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (1,080x2,520 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a density of 422ppi. The cover display has Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the back and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
• It has a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset and a maximum RAM of 16GB. Also, it includes AI based features like Gemini Live, AI Results View, Circle to Search, Drawing Assist and Writing Assist. The phone has a strong Armor FlexHinge and Armor Aluminum frame and is also water and dust resistant with an IP48 rating.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 price in India

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 starts at Rs 1,74,999. This price is for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. At the same time, the 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants are priced at Rs 1,86,999 and Rs 2,10,999 respectively. The phone will be available in Blue Shadow, JetBlack and Silver Shadow colors, while the Mint color variant will be available online only.

Pre-booking for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has started on Samsung's official website and its sale will start from July 25. The company has announced the availability of the 12GB + 512GB variant at the price of the 256GB variant under a pre-order offer, which is valid only till July 12.
