Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6: Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 foldables that will carry forward the company's legacy and introduce new brands. The latest Galaxy foldables feature the latest Galaxy AI features that the company wants to make better and safer for consumers. The new Galaxy Z Fold 6 is better in terms of design, hardware, and other essential elements that a buyer wants when buying a foldable device.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 price in India starts at Rs 1,64,999 for the 256GB base variant, while the 512GB and 1TB models are priced at Rs 1,76,999 and Rs 2,00,999 respectively. Galaxy Z Flip 6 price in India starts at Rs 1,09,999 for the 256GB model. These new Samsung Galaxy foldables will be available for pre-order from July 10 and will go on sale in several countries starting July 24.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Features

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The outer screen is a 6.3-inch HD+ resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. Samsung has upgraded the cover screen to support an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate which is quite different from the standard 60Hz refresh rate of the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

The new foldables are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which you get with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The weight of the Fold 6 has been reduced to 239 grams which brings it closer to the weight of the OnePlus Open and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.

Talking about the imaging technology, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a triple rear camera system that includes a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP wide-angle sensor with OIS, and a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS. It also has a 10MP selfie camera and a secondary 4MP under-display shooter. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 packs a 4,400mAh battery and also supports 25W wired charging speed and fast wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been launched in three variants.

• Variant 1: 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage - This variant is priced at Rs 1,64,999 in India.
• Variant 2: 12GB RAM + 512GB Storage - This variant is priced at Rs 1,76,999 in India.
• Third variant: 12GB RAM + 1TB storage - This variant is priced at Rs 2,00,999 in India.

The company has launched this phone in three colors - Pink, Navy Blue and Silver. Its sale will start from July 24 and customers paying with HDFC Bank cards will get a cashback of Rs 8000.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is also the more affordable version of the two in the new lineup. The flip phone has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display when opened, while the cover screen is 3.4 inches with a Super AMOLED panel, but it only supports a 60Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 weighs 187 grams, which is the same as its predecessor.

The Flip 6 will also be offered with up to 12GB of RAM and you will get it with either a 256GB or 512GB storage model. As shown in the picture above, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a dual camera system consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP wide-angle sensor with OIS. The Flip 6 packs a 4000mAh battery that also supports 25W wired charging speed.

Samsung has also launched its new flip phone at this event, which has been introduced in two variants.

• First variant: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage - This variant is priced at Rs 1,09,999 in India.
• Second variant: 12GB RAM + 512GB storage - This variant is priced at Rs 1,21,999 in India.

The company has launched this phone in three colors - Silver Shadow, Yellow and Blue. It has been launched in Mint. The sale of this phone will start from July 24, but pre-booking has already started. A cashback of Rs 8000 will be given on payment of this phone with HDFC Bank card.
