The official trailer of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s most awaited movie Shaakuntalam is now out on the internet. And as always, she is looking fabulous in her new outfit.
The film is directed by Gunasekhar and features Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, Kabir Duhan Singh, etc in the supporting cast. As per the recent updates, the film will hit the cinema houses on 27th February 2023.
Talking of story, it’s a mythological drama about Saint Vishwamithra’s daughter Shaakuntala who falls in love with king Dushyanth. The movie will show us her struggle for love.

Shaakuntalam trailer opens with a stunning shot of an immense kingdom, in which the group of birds is flying with an abandoned baby. Then, the trailer beautifully introduces us to Shaakuntala (Samantha) with a voice-over.
In the next shot, Samantha is covered up with a bunch of blue butterflies in the forest and looking too beautiful. King Dusyanth saw her and loses his heart at first sight.
Thereafter, the trailer carries on with politics and war. However, the trailer is only released in the Telegu language yet.

There is no doubt, the story of the movie is going to be very interesting as it is taken from Mahabharata, the Indian legend.
