In the 10th match of IPL 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) gave a strong performance and defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 7 wickets. And despite RCB’s 182 runs, KKR batsmen displayed brilliant batting and achieved the target of 183 runs in just 16.5 overs and won.

And he became only the fifth player in IPL history to achieve the feat of both 1000 runs and 100 wickets, joining the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Axar Patel and Sunil Narine.

On the contrary, Hardik Pandya has lagged behind in the race for the milestone despite his brilliant batting. While Pandya has scored 2344 runs in 125 matches, his bowling record is just under 54 wickets. This highlights Russell’s extraordinary abilities and places him in a respected category among IPL players.
