Actor Raveena Tandon, on Wednesday, was awarded the fourth highest civilian award, Padma Shri, by President Draupadi Murmu at a gilded ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Raveena posted a series of images from this special day to Instagram with the caption “A day of love and celebrations #padmashri #23.”

She can be seen posing with SS Rajamouli, the director of “RRR,” her children, and her husband, Anil Thadani, in one of the pictures.
She can be seen receiving her Padma Shri from President Murmu in the last two photos.

Offering her thanks on being picked for the top honor, Tandon prior said, “Regarded and appreciative. Government of India, I am so grateful that you have recognized my life’s work, passion, and purpose—the arts and cinema—which allowed me to make a contribution not only to the film industry but also to other fields.
I am grateful to everyone who helped me on this journey through the Art and Craft of Cinema, held my hand throughout, and watched me from above. My father owes me this.”
With blockbusters like “Mohra,” “Main Khiladi Tu Anari,” “Satta,” and “Shool,” Tandon became an A-list star in Bollywood.
Her performance in the pan-Indian blockbuster “KGF 2” garnered a lot of praise.
The Central government previously announced 106 Padma Awards across categories in January. Art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, and other fields were included in the categories.

On the work front, Raveena will be next found in a forthcoming lighthearted comedy film ‘Ghudchadi’ close by Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthan and Khushali Kumar.
