According to reports, streaming giant Netflix has acquired the OTT rights to the two-part "Dhurandhar" saga for approximately ₹130 crore. This deal is considered Ranveer Singh's most expensive OTT deal to date. This spy thriller has become the new Bollywood "Dhurandhar" sensation.

Aditya Dhar's film, which features a powerful cast including Akshaye Khanna, Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Ali Khan, crossed the ₹100 crore net mark in its opening weekend.

A strong collection of ₹24 crore on Monday indicates that the film will have a long run at the box office. Clips and scenes from the film are constantly going viral on social media, making "Dhurandhar" one of the most talked-about Indian films.

And the story doesn't end there. Aditya Dhar's "Dhurandhar" has also secured a massive deal for its OTT rights.

According to reports, Ranveer's sports drama '83' was sold to Netflix for ₹30 crore in 2021, while his romantic comedy 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' was acquired by Amazon Prime Video for approximately ₹80 crore in 2023.

Fans are now speculating that "Dhruvandhar" might be directly connected to "Uri," potentially creating Aditya Dhar's own cinematic universe.

The second installment of the franchise, "Dhruvandhar 2," is now scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid.
