Chennai: It is no mystery that Rajinikanth isn’t just regarded as a star or a superstar down South. Such is the passion for the ‘Thalaiva’ that fans go all out to sprinkle their affection on him and his films.
The same phenomenon happened on January 10 when two of Rajinikanth’s die-hard fans in Chennai selected to celebrate the release of ‘Petta’ Movie by getting married on the same day.
Not only this! The couple kamachi and Anbarasu tied the know outside the Theatre named Woodland on Thursday.

A mandap was set-up where all the wedding ceremony took place with all the customs and rituals. After that, food was given to all the fans and people who had collected outside the theatre to watch the movie.

The Tamil translation of the Karthik Subbaraj-directorial released today while the Hindi version will hit the theatres on Friday.
‘Petta’ marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. it features stars Sasikumar, Simran, Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Mahendran, and Guru Somasundaram.
