Several districts of Rajasthan state will face No internet service today, not due to any technical fault or security threat. The reason behind this is RPSC RAS 2021 exam which is conducted statewide to fill 988 vacancies in State and Subordinate Services. Thousands of aspiring students are appearing for the first stage i.e preliminary exam which will be a three-hour paper.
Those appearing in exams are not allowed to carry any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, and more to prevent cheating. However, the state government has decided to ban 2G/3G.4G internet services till the exam is over.
Following which many users will not be able to use Whatsapp, Facebook and all internet-related services. They will also face trouble while sending bulk SMS and MMS during these three hours of the exam.
RPSC RAS 2021 Exam Caused Internet Ban In 11 Districts Across State, Here’s The List
An official notice is released to convey the information regarding which districts will face internet trouble today.

Ajmer, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Sawai, Madhopur, Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Jaipur are areas barred from internet services. The ban is not for the entire day instead, timings differ from district to district.

The ban is 5 hours long for Bharatpur, Karauli, Sawaii, Dholpur, and Madhopur districts. It began in the morning at 8 am and will continue till 1 pm.

Over 6 lakhs students are appearing for today’s exam which is conducted only in one phase from 10 am to 1 pm at centers across state.
