Surat court has sentenced Rahul Gandhi to two years. Rahul Gandhi however got an easy bail soon after the Court stated his imprisonment. BJP leader, MLA, and former Gujrat minister Purnesh Modi filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi sent to Jail: Rahul Gandhi made a controversial statement about PM Modi while attending a public meeting held in Kolar, Karnataka ahead of the 2019 elections. Ahead of the 2019 elections, Rahul Gandhi said “Why do all the thieves have “Modi” as their surnames? Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi, and Narendra Modi.
Nirav Modi is an Indian diamond tycoon that frauded the Indian bank and left the country. Lalit Modi is a former chief of the Indian Premier League who’s banned from the country’s cricket board for a lifetime.
