November of last year.It has Qualcomm's proprietary Oryon CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.8GHz.For improved AI workloads, the chipset has a Hexagon NPU and an Adreno GPU.It is equipped with Snapdragon X80 5G Modem-RF System AND THE FastConnect 7900 system, enabling support for Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 7. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in terms of CPU performance by up to 36%.
