PVR INOX Launches In Leh Ladakh At 11,500ft

Now the wait is finally over for the movie lovers, film watchers and the fans of bollywood or hollywood, just for the residents of Leh Ladakh because the PVR INOX is finally being launched in Leh Ladakh that too at the height of 11,500 feet. This is the first ever multiplex launching in Leh Ladakh. The happiness of the fans are even on a higher peak than the height of the PVR INOX.

What is PVR ?

PVR, also lesser known as the Priya Village Roadshow, is a brand of the Indian multiplex chain. It is the largest film exhibition company of India. PVR has absolutely revolutionized the cinematic experience of the Indians. It provides thousands of multiplexes all over India. The PVR-INOX Merger

By the end of the year of 2022, PVR and INOX discussed to merge their companies with each other and by the beginning of the year of 2023, they indeed merged. The collaboration of merging the two vast companies of largest cinema chains, leading to creating India's biggest multiplex operator with over 1,500 screens and the world's fifth-largest listed chain by screen count. The objective of this deal of collaboration was to make recovery from all the losses which they faced during the time of pandemic and their collaboration of expansion succeeded and still succeeding.

Launch of PVR INOX 

In a landmark moment for India’s entertainment landscape, PVR INOX has launched Leh Ladakh’s first multiplex at an astonishing altitude of 11,500 feet above sea level, making it the highest-located cinema in the country. Situated in Solar Colony, Saboo along the Leh Manali Bypass Road, the two-screen theatre combines cutting-edge technology including 2K projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and next-generation 3D, with the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayas, offering residents, tourists, and armed forces personnel a world-class cinematic experience previously unavailable in the region.

The multiplex also introduces Leh’s first modern food court, featuring popular global brands, turning the venue into a vibrant new social hub amid Ladakh’s serene landscapes.
