A month ago, south Indian queen Samantha Ruth Prabhu disclosed that she was suffering from a very rare disease called Myositis. The revelation scared her fans, so they are posting well wishes for her on social media.
As per Samantha’s post, she is receiving better treatment and recovering from illness. But now there is more south Indian actress who was recently diagnosed with a new rare disease called Fibromyalgia.
Her name is Poonam Kaur and she is a well-known actress who also works as a politician. Recently, she also joined Rahul Gandhi in Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Who is Poonam Kaur?
Poonam Kaur is a south Indian actress who made her acting debut with the 2006 Telegu film Mayajalam. She is also a politician who works for social welfare and belongs to the Indian National Congress.

Poonam appeared in lots of Tamil and Telegu movies including Nikki and Neeraj, Eenadu, Souryam, Vinayakudu, Ganesh, Gaganam, etc.
The actress shared her medical condition with an Instagram post and said “Fibromyalgia is when a motivated person with lots of plans is forced to slow down and rest… Let’s rest for a bit.”

What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a rare disorder that leads to body pain, fatigue, sleep and memory issues. It is more common in women than men, especially adults.
Usually, its symptoms were experienced after the events like surgery, infection, physical trauma, and psychological stress.
