Poco launched the Poco F8 series in select global markets on Wednesday. The lineup includes the Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro. The Ultra variant is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and packs a 6,500mAh battery. The Pro version features the previous-generation octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a slightly smaller 6,210mAh battery. Both handsets run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and come with speakers from US-based audio manufacturer Bose.

The Poco F8 Pro is priced at $579 (approximately Rs. 51,700) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB option is priced at $629 (approximately Rs. 56,100). The company stated that under the early-bird offer, the 12GB + 256GB version is priced at $529 (approximately Rs. 47,200) and the 12GB + 512GB version is priced at $579 (approximately Rs. 51,700).
The Poco F8 Ultra comes in Black and Denim Blue color options, while the Poco F8 Pro is available in Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver shades.

The Poco F8 Ultra features a 6.9-inch (1,200×2,608 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. It is powered by Qualcomm's 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
In terms of photography, the Poco F8 Ultra features a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter with 5x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. There's a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.
The Poco F8 Ultra packs a 6,500mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and support for Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, NavIC, and A-GNSS. The smartphone also features a Bose-tuned 2.1 stereo setup and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The PocoF8 Pro features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. It is powered by a 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The software is HyperOS 3, which is the same as the Ultra version.
The Poco F8 Pro features a 50-megapixel OPIS-backed main sensor, a 50-megapixel 2.5x zoom telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. There's a 20-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
The Poco F8 Pro has a 6,210mAh battery that supports 100W wired HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The phone is also IP68 rated. Connectivity options are the same as the Ultra model.
