PhonePe CEO Slams Karnataka's Private Sector Quota Bill, 'My Kids Don't Deserve Jobs In Their Home City' ?

PhonePe CEO and Co-Founder Sameer Nigam took to X to voice his disappointment with the Karnataka government's confidential positions standard bill for local people. The dubious bill expressed that half of all administration occupations and 70% of all non-administration occupations in privately owned businesses are to be held for local people. Notwithstanding, it has been required to be postponed in the wake of getting a serious kickback.

"I'm 46 years of age. Never lived in a state for 15+ yrs. My dad worked in the Indian Naval force. Got posted all around the country. His children don't merit occupations in Karnataka? I assemble organizations. Have made 25000+ positions across India! My children don't merit occupations in their home city?" PhonePe CEO Nigam wrote in his post. He shared the X post before the public authority chose to require the bill to be postponed.

'X' Users Supported PhonePe CEO

"Who says you don't merit Occupations in Karnataka? You should simply Gain proficiency with THE LANGUAGE! Why such a lot of clamor?" composed a X client. PhonePe CEO Nigam answered, "Karnataka <> just Kannada talking individuals. Get it? I can work any place I need in India. I can get familiar with any language that I need to. The constitution of India gives me these privileges. IT'S MY Decision. Get the clamor."

One more added, "So evident!! This present circumstance might have been deflected if individuals who showed up in Bangalore for better possibilities had recognized the excellence of the city and its kin and had adjusted in little ways to make the city their home! Feel sorry for that most didn't!"
