Oppo Reno 15 Series 5G India Launch: Models, Features and Price

Oppo is preparing to introduce the new Reno's in India. The anticipation for the Oppo Reno 15 Series 5G has grown as the announcement has progressed. The series debuted in China in November of last year, but it has now been confirmed by Oppo that it will be brought to India. The India launch is pending.

The Reno 15 series will include updated looks, high-end camera capabilities, and multiple versions; Oppo appears to be ready to dominate the premium mid-range smartphone space in India.

Oppo Reno 15 Series 5G: What We Know 

Oppo has made an announcement on Twitter that they will be launching the Reno 15 series of devices in India. As of now, there has been no confirmed date for the launch, but the post does make it clear that this product will be introduced very soon after the teaser was released.

In addition, there is a teaser video available that shows us the very first look of this new series of devices showing two different colors to choose from, Blue and White. As with other Reno devices, these will be focused on the design aspect of how they look.

Oppo Reno 15 Series 5G: Design 

According to teaser images, Oppo plans on implementing contemporary, premium finishes on this device.

Aurora Blue Colour Variant:

• It will have a gradient-like effect on the back cover, inspired by the aurora (Northern Lights).
• This gradient effect is created by subtle colouring changes based on both the angle of light hitting it, and the angle you view it.
• This is meant to appeal to people who like to have a unique looking phone.

Ribbon White Colour Variant:

Like many of its counterparts:

•  It features a pattern running down the centre of the back of the devices, which will give it a clean yet unique style.
• It appears that it may only be found in the Reno 15 Pro mini, in the “Glacier White” shade.

Each Colour Variant features a redesigned camera module with three different, individual-looking lenses and LED flash modules that visually resemble the previous generation iPhone's.

Models Expected in India

Based on the predictions of Paras Guglani, ‘Twitter handle @passionategeekz’, Oppo may introduce four new smartphones in India as part of its Reno 15 Series 5G, a first of its type for the Reno series. The expected models will include the following Android-based smartphones:

• Oppo Reno 15 Pro mini

 With this move, Oppo would be able to capture various price segments while maintaining its existing brand image through the Reno name.
