OPPO K12x 5G: OPPO has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the K series, the K12x 5G, in India as promised. The phone has received MIL-STD-810H certification and has been rigorously tested even in the harshest environments and conditions, be it extreme heat, humidity or shock resistance. It also has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
The company said that the OPPO K12x has a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, with a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits, it has a segment-first splash touch technology that allows users to operate the touchscreen even with wet hands or when the screen is wet.
Oppo K12x 5G specifications, features
- The Oppo K12x 5G sports a 6.67-inch HD+ (1,604 x 720 pixels) LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, brightness levels up to 1,000nits, and dual-reinforced Panda Glass protection.
- It also supports splash touch technology, which is claimed to be capable of operating the phone even with wet hands.
- The phone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It comes with Android 14-based ColorOS 14.
- For optics, the Oppo K12x 5G sports a dual rear camera unit, consisting of a 32-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor.
- The front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor. The handset comes with MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP54-rated build for protection against dust and splashes.
- Oppo has packed a 5,100mAh battery on the Oppo K12x 5G that supports 45W SuperVOOC charging.
- The phone also supports 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity as well as a 3.5mm audio jack.
- For security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 76.14 x 165.79 x 7.68mm and weighs 186 grams.
Price and availability
The Oppo K12x comes in Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet colours and is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs 15,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model.
It will be available on Flipkart, Oppo India online stores, and offline stores starting August 2.
