OnePlus 15R Launched in India With Massive 7,400mAh Battery and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5

OnePlus has officially unveiled one of its performance-based smartphones in India, the OnePlus 15R, and offered an extra addition to its smartphone series that aims to focus on power, endurance, and display quality.

The OnePlus 15R is powered by a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset that is supported with 12GB LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Another addition to the device is an Adreno 8-series GPU, a new G2 Wi-Fi chip and a dedicated Touch Response Chip that makes the device more responsive.

The OnePlus 15R has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 in the camera department, which has OIS with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera featuring 112 degrees field of view. The rear cameras have 4K video recording with a maximum of 120fps, and cinematic and multi-view video modes.

The smartphone has a 32 megapixels selfie camera on the front, which can record 4K video at 30fps, and helps the content creators and those who frequently make video calls.

In India, OnePlus begins its pricing at Rs. 47,999 with the 12gb RAM and 256 GB storage variant. The 12GB + 512GB is sold at a comparatively high cost of Rs. 52,999. Using the select bank offers of the Axis bank and HDFC bank, the effective starting price reduces to Rs. 44,999.
