The company says it has received over 50,000 bookings within a few days since the purchase window for the Ola S1 Air opened at a starting price of Rs 1.1 lakh (including FAME II subsidy), ex-showroom. The electric scooter has received an overwhelming response from customers as it has received over 3,000 bookings within hours of its launch on July 27.

Price will Increase after August 15

Ola CEO Bhavish Agarwal has increased the introductory price (Rs 1.1 lakh ex-showroom) of Ola S1 Air on his social media handles due to high demand and response to exceeding expectations in bookings till midnight of 15 August 2023. After that, it will be sold at Rs 1.2 lakh, ex-showroom.

After the discontinuation of the Ola S1 variant, the company now only has two products available. This includes the entry-level S1 Air and the top-spec and flagship S1 Pro.
