The company says it has received over 50,000 bookings within a few days since the purchase window for the Ola S1 Air opened at an introductory price of Rs 1.1 lakh (including FAME II subsidy), ex-showroom. After August 15, its prices will be increased.

Ola Electric, the country’s largest two-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently opened the purchase window for its most affordable electric scooter S1 Air. This latest electric scooter has received a good response from the customers. Regarding this, the company has claimed that within a few days of the opening of the purchase window, its booking has achieved a huge figure.

The company says it has received over 50,000 bookings within a few days since the purchase window for the Ola S1 Air opened at a starting price of Rs 1.1 lakh (including FAME II subsidy), ex-showroom. The electric scooter has received an overwhelming response from customers as it has received over 3,000 bookings within hours of its launch on July 27.
Price will Increase after August 15
Ola CEO Bhavish Agarwal has increased the introductory price (Rs 1.1 lakh ex-showroom) of Ola S1 Air on his social media handles due to high demand and response to exceeding expectations in bookings till midnight of 15 August 2023. After that, it will be sold at Rs 1.2 lakh, ex-showroom.
Features of Ola S1 Air
After the discontinuation of the Ola S1 variant, the company now only has two products available. This includes the entry-level S1 Air and the top-spec and flagship S1 Pro. The Ola S1 Air is powered by a 3.0 kWh battery pack and an 8.5 kWh motor that produces 58 Nm of torque. The EV maker claims a range of 125 km on a single charge for the S1 Air, which can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 90 mph.

According to the company, it can be fully charged in less than 5 hours.
