Exam Leak Controversy

On May 5, more than 23.33 lakh students took the test at 4,750 centers in 571 cities, 14 of which were overseas. Approximately 1,563 people applied for the retest. Last month, there were allegations that the question paper for the 2024 NEET-UG exam had been leaked on social media; subsequent inquiries revealed that the leak was orchestrated by a national "solver gang" network.

Supreme Court Ordered NTA To Release NEET Result

The Chief Justice of India, DY Chandrachud, and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra ordered that the results be announced separately, city-by-city, by noon on Saturday. Additionally, the court emphasized that the NEET-UG reexamination can only be conducted on the solid ground that sanctity has been violated on a large scale of NEET Exam.
