Kawasaki Eliminator 500 Launched in India at Rs 5.62 Lakh: A Classic Cruiser with Modern Updates

India Kawasaki Motor has launched the new Kawasaki Eliminator cruiser in India, priced at Rs 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom). The Eliminator 500 made its global debut last year and has been a constant in many markets outside Japan. The Eliminator name remains popular in the motorcycle maker's portfolio in India and its revival will increase people's interest.

Design and Features

The 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 comes as a classic cruiser with modern styling. Its low-slung design and comfortable stance are retained, but the bike also gets a round LED headlamp, exposed frame and all-black components. The cruiser also gets a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, gear position indicator and 2 trip meters. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity through the Kawasaki Rideology app with calls and notifications.

Color update

Kawasaki Eliminator 500 has been updated with three new color options. These color options are Metallic Flat Spark Black, Pearl Robotic White and Metallic Carbon Gray/Flat Ebony. Earlier it used to come with two color options. These color options have been released in Europe at the moment, but it can also come in the Indian market this festive season.

Kawasaki Eliminator has a 451cc engine

The India-spec model of the Kawasaki Eliminator has a 451cc parallel-twin engine, which generates 44bhp of power. This powerful bike has two rear shocks and regular telescopic front forks for suspension. The bike has a 310mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc ABS.

Talking about other mechanical changes, there are 41mm telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking performance is enhanced by a 310mm semi-floating front disc with dual-channel ABS and a 220mm disc at the rear. The bike is shod with a 130/70/R18 tyre at the front and a 150/80R16 tyre at the rear, which is equipped with a ten-spoke alloy wheel.

The Kawasaki Eliminator has a cruiser look

The bike has a low-slung silhouette, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, flat handlebars, circular LED headlamp, long tail and low seat. The bike is equipped with assist and slipper clutch and the brand's Ergo-Fit system, which helps riders customize their bike according to their height and comfort.

What is the price of Eliminator in India

The ex-showroom price of Kawasaki Eliminator 500 in India is Rs 5.62 lakh. It comes with a single variant and color option. Its new color option can be brought to India before the festive season. In the country, it competes with Keeway V302C and Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
