To remind you, the Edge 50 series is nearing its global release, which includes the Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Fusion, and Edge 50 Ultra. The Edge 50 Fusion is set to launch next week while the other two have already been released in some markets. And now, the Chinese version, called Motorola X50 Ultra, is also set to launch on May 16.

Looking at the teaser, we can see the device in a beige color option. But since the Edge 50 also comes in Ultra Black and Peach Fuzz variants, we can expect the China release to include these colors as well. Since this is a rebranded Edge 50 Ultra, specifications will likely be the same between the two models. So the X50 Ultra may feature a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, it is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will likely run on Android 14 OS out of the box. For photography, there may be a 50-megapixel triple camera setup at the rear while a 50-megapixel selfie shooter may be provided at the front. A 4,500mAh battery pack can power this device with support for 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
