Motorola recently launched its new Motorola Edge 70 in select global markets last week with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, featuring a slim design and a significantly lighter weight. Now, initial reports suggest that the brand is preparing to introduce the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, which could launch with flagship-grade specifications.

This upcoming handset is also expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display. Furthermore, it could also feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, making it significantly more powerful. It is also said to be the successor to last year's Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.

Regarding specifications, X user Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) has reported that the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra will feature a 1.5K resolution and an OLED screen. The device is also said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

Not only this, the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra may also feature a periscope telephoto camera. It is also said that it will retain the Edge 70's slim and lightweight design, allowing it to compete directly with flagship phones like Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air.
