Minissha Lamba comments on Sijd Khan:

Minissha Lamba has not been seen on the big screen in a while, but she believes her experience within the Bollywood industry has made her wiser. On her 38th birthday, the actor spoke to the media about her choices in the industry, including the #MeToo Movement. Lamba has featured in films such as Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yahaan, Honeymoon Travels Private Ltd., and Kidnap, and in her recent interview, she referred to Sajid Khan as a ‘creature’.

When questioned about her involvement in Bigg Boss season 8 and Sajid Khan who recently decided to leave Bigg Boss 16 on his own accord, Minissha suggested that it is better to not speak about him. In a statement to the Indian Express, she said, “The #MeToo movement has been so significant in transforming people’s views on women across the globe. It was a revolution that was almost ready to break out, it only needed one incident to set it off and that is what revolutions are all about. As for the individual you have mentioned, the less said about him the better.”

When asked about participating in Bigg Boss season 8 and Sajid Khan’s voluntary exit from Bigg Boss 16, Minissha said it’s better to not speak much about him. She highlighted the significance of the Me Too movement, which she believes was a revolution waiting to happen.

She also looked back at her journey in Bollywood, mentioning that she did everything by herself and would have done certain things differently if given the chance. Meanwhile, Sajid exited Bigg Boss to shoot for his upcoming film ‘100 percent’ starring Shehnaaz Gill, Nora Fatehi, Riteish Deshmukh, and John Abraham. This was the first official appearance of the filmmaker since the accusations of sexual harassment against him during the #MeToo movement in 2018.
