MG Motors has recently announced a price hike for its popular electric SUV, Comet EV. This SUV offers a range of 230 kilometers on a single charge and offers two charging options for added convenience.

Amount: The price of all variants of MG Comet EV has been increased by Rs 10,000.
New Rates: After the price hike, the ex-showroom price of MG Comet EV now ranges from Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 9.24 lakh.

- Executive Variant: The price of this variant remains unchanged at Rs 6,98,800.
- Excite Variant: The ex-showroom price of the Excite variant is now Rs 7.98 lakh.
- Exclusive Variant: The price of Exclusive variant has become Rs 8.88 lakh.
Charging options of MG Comet EV
- Fast Charging: The Exclusive and Excite variants offer different fast charging options.
- Charging Time: With fast charging (7.4 kW AC), the MG Comet EV can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 2.5 hours.

- Battery Capacity: MG Comet EV is equipped with a 17.3 kWh battery pack.
- Motor Power: It has a rear axle-mounted single motor with a power output of 41 hp and torque of 110 Nm.
- Range: The Comet EV claims a range of 230 kilometers on a single charge, making it suitable for both city commutes and long drives.
- Real-world range: In real-world tests, the Comet EV has demonstrated a range of 191 kilometers, ensuring reliable performance in various driving conditions.
