This year’s Met Gala, themed ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reliving Fashion’, pays homage to centuries of style evolution while celebrating the delicate pieces that are often overlooked in the fast-paced world of fashion.

1. Alia Bhatt:
Bollywood star Alia Bhatt made a stunning appearance on the green carpet, adding to the charm of the evening. She mesmerized everyone with her presence wearing a stunning floral Sabyasachi saree. After her memorable Met Gala debut last year with a stellar performance by Prabal Gurung, this is her second appearance at the prestigious event.
Alia shared pictures of her look on her official social media handle and wrote, “It was an evocation of the Garden of Time – a tribute to art and eternity. Timelessness is eternal, and we believe that things crafted with time and care can last forever. In our journey to an Indian interpretation of this universal theme, the dress took on a life of its own.”
2. Isha Ambani:
Isha Ambani, daughter of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, is preparing for her fourth appearance at the Met Gala 2024. Fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania unveiled Isha’s much-awaited look for the event, setting the stage for another glamorous Met Gala moment. ,
Isha Ambani caught everyone’s attention at the 2024 Met Gala. She chose to wear a beautiful saree gown designed by Indian designer Rahul Mishra, which featured a stunning long floral train. Anaita Shroff Adajania styled her for the event and on Instagram she shared photos of Isha’s Met Gala look, which was apparently inspired by this year’s “The Garden of Time” dress code.
The intricately hand-embroidered look was created in Rahul Mishra’s workshops in various Indian villages, supporting hundreds of local craftsmen and weavers. Isha elevated her gown with a “clutch handcrafted by Swadesh using ancient Indian art forms nakashi and miniature painting”.
3. Mona Patel:
Mona Patel stunned her look with a mechanical dress inspired by butterflies, styled by Law Roach. As Mona walked, her dress swayed here and there, creating a mesmerizing effect that beautifully reflected the theme of ‘Time and Nature’. According to media reports, Patel is an Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist, originally from Vadodara, who moved to the United States at a young age to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions.
4. Mindy Kaling:
Comedian-actress Mindy Kaling graced the Met Gala carpet in a beautiful champagne-colored architectural gown which was designed by none other than Gaurav Gupta. She is also a writer and producer. Kalinga was born on 24 June 1979, and is the daughter of Indian immigrants. Talking about Kaling’s outfit, Aishwarya also wore Gaurav’s custom-made Queen Pink Sculpted creation on the third day of the Cannes Film Festival in 2022.
4. Natasha Poonawalla:
Natasha Poonawalla’s outfit for the Met Gala 2024 was custom-made from Maison Margiela’s Artisanal collection, designed by John Galliano. She wore a white strapless bodycon dress adorned with transparent black ripped chiffon, paired with a puffy white hat.
