Mahindra is set to launch its new Mahindra XUV 7XO on January 5, 2026. Ahead of the launch, the company has released a new teaser. This new teaser reveals several key details about the XUV 7XO. What does the teaser show?
The teaser for the new Mahindra XUV 7XO showcases some key features. It is expected to have a 540-degree camera system. This is a step up from the 360-degree camera offered in the XUV700. This will provide the driver with a better view of the surroundings. This will be most beneficial in tight spaces and off-road situations.

It also features an in-car theater mode. Rear passengers can use their personal devices, which will be managed through Mahindra's Adrenox+ software suite. This system controls infotainment, connectivity, and vehicle intelligence.
Major Design Changes
- The Mahindra XUV 7XO features significant design changes. Its lighting design is similar to Mahindra's new electric cars. It features new LED DRLs, projector headlamps, inverted L-shaped elements at the rear, and a full-width light bar.
- New paint scheme options are also expected. The SUV features dual-tone alloy wheels, updated bumpers, new exterior colors, and a grille with vertical chrome elements. The XUV 7XO badging is visible on both the bonnet and the tailgate.
First-ever Triple-Screen Layout

- This will be Mahindra's first petrol-diesel SUV to feature a triple-screen dashboard layout. It also has a panoramic sunroof.
- The interior is significantly more premium than before.
- It will feature a new triple-tone dashboard, brown and tan steering wheel, improved upholstery, and new door trims.
- Other features may include boss mode seating, new air vents, a new center console, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and improved material quality.
The engine will likely remain the same
The MahindraXUV 7XO is expected to retain the same engine options as the XUV700. These include a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. These engines will likely be offered with both 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. This SUV may also come with an all-wheel drive (AWD) setup.
