Lamborghini LB744 Comes With Carbon Fibre Monocoque Chassis

Lamborghini has now revealed the official details of their upcoming flagship to the public. The substitution of the Aventador is now named LB744 and the company has now revealed the first look much earlier than the global premiere.

The Aeronautics Influenced Design

The LB744 has basically copied the ‘mono fuselage’ by the company and it is completely influenced by aeronautics. The vehicle having chassis integral with the body is 10% lighter than its predecessors. 

At the same time, the torsional stiffness went up by about 25%. The complete front portion of the supercar chassis is comprised of only carbon fibre. The reason for adding carbon fibre is that it is much safer and can also absorb double the amount of energy, as purported by Lamborghini.

Excluding carbon fibre, alloys of aluminium are placed at the rear with empty casting to embody the powertrain as well as suspension. These are amalgamated into a single body to minimize the weight, shot up stiffness, and minimize the needed welding lines.

Battery And The Gear Box

The car comes with an amazing 3.8kWh battery pack which will be included for the very first time in the 6.5 litres V12. 

Due to this, it now became 17kg lighter as compared to before. Having three electric motors amalgamated, the output of the entire system is possible to be north of 1000bhp with evenly mammoth torque figures.
