On Monday, JioHotstar unveiled a new subscription structure for new subscribers, offering monthly subscriptions in all tiers that start at just Rs. 79.
According to the streaming service, this action is intended to increase accessibility to the platform and its content while also matching price to evolving viewing preferences and growing JioHotstar's large-screenusage. In addition to the current quarterly and annual options, the new structure will provide monthly JioHotstar contracts.

The three subscription tiers of JioHotstar—Mobile, Super, and Premium—will remain available.According to a press release from the streaming service, the first two plans are ad-supported, so even while users have access to JioHotstarcontent, they will still see commercials.
