The iQOO 15 Ultra is no longer a mystery quietly waiting in the shadows. The new certification visuals and detailed leakages are coming out almost daily, and iQOO is clearly preparing to launch its most ambitious flagship yet, and it’s about time.

This is the first “Ultra” phone in iQOO’s number series, and from everything we know so far, the brand isn’t playing safe. It’s aiming straight at hardcore performance lovers and mobile gamers who want flagship power without committing to a bulky, RGB-heavy gaming phone.

iQOO 15 Ultra certification confirms launch is close

The clearest indication was in the database of 3C certification in China, where the iQOO 15 Ultra was seen with the 100W fast charging support. The certifications do not appear this late unless a launch is near, and several reports indicate China launch ahead of the Spring Festival, before the mid-February 2026.

That timeline lines up neatly with previous leaks and iQOO’s own teasers calling the device an “ultra-performance” flagship. Simply, the phone is ready and iQOO is just creating hype.

iQOO 15 Ultra display and design

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the  iQOO 15 Ultra will come with a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 2K OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The important detail here? It’s a flat panel, not curved.

As someone who’s used curved screens while gaming, I will clearly say that flat displays are superior. Less accidental touches, sharper edges, and more consistent performance during long sessions. iQOO choosing function over flashy curves feels like a conscious, gamer-oriented decision.

The Samsung M14 panel itself is expected to deliver high brightness, better efficiency, and improved eye comfort, already proven on the standard iQOO 15.

iQOO 15 Ultra performance

Powering the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with iQOO’s in-house Q3 gaming chip. This dual-chip approach isn’t new for iQOO, but bringing it to an Ultra model shows serious intent.

The Snapdragon handles raw power, while the Q3 chip focuses on frame rate stability, thermal control, and power efficiency during gaming. Translation: smoother gameplay for longer periods without the phone turning into a hand warmer.

Leaks also point to active cooling with a built-in fan, something usually reserved for dedicated gaming phones. Add physical shoulder triggers, and this phone starts blurring the line between mainstream flagship and gaming hardware.

Gaming phones have a reputation for average cameras, but the iQOO 15 Ultra seems eager to break that stereotype. A 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom is confirmed by the leak.

Though not all details of the camera are revealed yet, the presence of a periscope lens already puts this phone in serious flagship territory. Combined with the Vivo’s improving image processing, this may be one of those rare devices that balances gaming power and photography without major compromises.

Given how well the standard iQOO 15 performed in daylight photography, expectations for the Ultra model are understandably higher.

iQOO 15 Ultra battery

Here’s the spec that really grabs attention: a 7,000mAh (or larger) battery. That’s enormous by flagship standards.

The battery is paired with:

  • 100W wired fast charging
  • Wireless charging support

In practical terms, this means all-day heavy gaming without battery anxiety—and rapid top-ups when you finally plug in. For power users, this could be a genuine game-changer.

iQOO 15 Ultra knows exactly who it’s for

The iQOO 15 Ultra is not trying to please everyone and that is its biggest strength. It is designed to attract the enthusiasts who want top-tier performance, a serious display, fast charging, and have gaming hardware without committing to an over-the-top gaming phone.

If you care only about battery size, other phones may win. If  you are obsessed with cameras, then look elsewhere. But if performance, gaming stability, and smart design choices matter to you, iQOO’s first Ultra could quietly become one of 2026’s most interesting flagships, especially if it makes its way beyond China.

The countdown has clearly begun.
