Going through its all-over records, the franchise has played 231 matches till now. Out of them, MI has won 131 matches and lost 100. So, according to the analysis, it has around 56.70 winning percentage.
Besides all this, Mumbai has won maximum IPL trophies over the years. It reached the final six times and won five times. In the last 15 seasons of the league, Rohit Sharma’s team entered the playoffs nine times.

2. Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
If we look from the other way, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings is the most successful team in IPL history, even more than Mumbai Indians. It is in the second position just because the franchise has played fewer matches than MI.
